No one could have expected the reality in which we are now living in. There was no preparation for some of the setbacks that came our way. This pandemic that has swept our nation has affected all of us in some way or another. In many ways, it may look like it has set us back. There are a lot of things we have had to put a pause on. Our churches are no longer meeting in the same way they were before. Our business strategies and ways to do community are now having to shift. What if this setback is really setting us up for being launched forward?
What if we positioned ourselves now in order that we may be launched in the season to come? I believe there is an acceleration that will come through these setbacks we have faced. Disappointments are a part of life, but they often can be the platform in which we experience our greatest breakthroughs.

Here are 3 ways you can position yourself to be launched in this season:
- Get creative
It’s time we get creative and think outside of the box. This is really pushing us to think of new ways to go about our businesses. How can we get creative and adjust to the times we are in and still get our messages out? Don’t just do what everyone else is doing, allow boxes to be broken and creativity to flow freely through your life. You were made for this. You have it within you. It’s in times of pressure when we have had to be the most decisive, quick to make decisions, and quick to think in new ways!
- Focus on your passion project
In your extra downtime, invest in a passion project you haven’t had the time to previously. Whether it’s simply a hobby or a new business idea. Use the time you have to invest in it. Make the most of your downtime by spending time growing and learning new things!
- Be prepared
It’s time to be prepared for the growth that will come on the other side of this. Now is the time to prepare for success ahead. No matter what your circumstances may look like now, this is not your destination. There is more ahead. Be careful to protect yourself from dream killers and naysayers. Keep your hope alive, keep dreaming, and be prepared to be launched forward. This is not the end, it’s only a season. This too shall pass.
